The Carrie Diaries (English/Português)

There's only a couple of Tv Shows that entered to my All Time Favourites List. One of those cases is Carrie Diaries. I've read all the books and watched all the Seasons (There's Two of them). 

So let's dissect the show, here we have a 17-year old Carrie Bradshaw that is willing to make her first appearance in the New York scene. 80's are all the rage and shoulder pads too, The Carrie Diaries recreates that 80ies feeling in perfection. The Style, the music, the vibe, the technology and also the long phone calls on some the most creative telephones ever. (The Mickey Mouse one at least)

Existem apenas algumas (poucas) séries televisivas que entraram para a minha Lista de Favoritas de Sempre. Um desses casos foi The Carrie Diaries, já li todos os livros e vi todas as temporadas desta fantástica série e continuo sem me cansar. 

Vamos então dissecar um pouco disto, aqui temos uma jovem Carrie Bradshaw de 17 anos de idade a tentar fazer a sua primeira aparição por Nova Iorque. Os anos 80 estão de novo na voga assim como as Ombreiras, Ronald Reagan também ainda comanda as terras do Tio Sam nesta série que capta na perfeição a essência da época. O estilo, a musica, a mentalidade, a tecnologia... até as iintermináveis conversas sentados na cama ao telefone. (Destaque para o telefone Mickey Mouse)

Unfortunately The Carrie Diaries got cancelled last year and a part of me want it to return so much. It made me think about so many things in my life, and when i'm depressed there's a cure, this show.

Infelizmente a série foi cancelada no ano passado, ficando apenas pela segunda temporada. Adorava que regressasse um dia.... Esta foi a série que mais me fez pensar na minha vida e nos meus sonhos enquanto a assistia. Quando estou deprimido esta é a  melhor cura.

Also I'll always remember the day that Frannie showed it to me the first time, we were both in Lisbon, at her place and we saw this together.

E claro que sempre me irei lembrar do dia em que a Frannie me mostrou a série pela primeira vez e assistimos juntos.
