Life is connected - Lumia 830 Review

Life is connected!

It's been a while since I was willing to try the Microsoft Lumia Range (Formerly Nokia Lumia). And it wasn't for less, all this hype had always a reason. A stylish operative system (OS), a 10Mpx  camera and the fast 4G connection are the main characteristics in this device to help you stay connected with those you love and what you love.

Social:
I'm addicted to social network has many of other bloggers are, from Facebook, to Instagram, Pinterest, I have them all, and i need to constantly update them. The 4G connection speed of the Lumia 830 never left me down.  Messaging and e-mail are also great maters to me, I need to have it all organized!

The messaging app built-in the Windows Phone is simple, stylish and organized, I never had the risk of texting a different person.

Outlook e-mail, a Microsoft Service is 100% optimized for this platform, once again, it has that magical touch that helps you organize your e-mails consistently and keeps you on schedule. Outlook also synchronizes with your calendar App.

Cortana:
Since Portuguese is not yet an available language, I had to keep Lumia 830 always in English-UK to access Cortana, and I should say that I didn't regret it even a single bit.

Cortana is gorgeously optimized to help you. Voice control proved to be efficient. Even more if you're driving and can't use your phone. Just touch the search button and Cortana will Pop Up. Simply say, "Call <Insert Person Name Here>" and she'll do it for you.

Need another track playing on your car? Connect your phone trough 3.5 Jack cable or  Bluetooth to your Car Radio System and say " Cortana, Shuffle My Music" or "Play Blank Space" and she'll make it happen.

Did you know that... Cortana is the Artificial Intelligence in the Halo Series?

Camera:
This is a major selling point, the camera on Lumia 830 is fast and does a great job whether it is in bright light or darker conditions. It even has a built-in flash to help your late night photos get some light. Inside, there's a 10 Mpx sensor with Carl-Zeiss Lenses, and that is what really makes the difference between other devices.

The front camera is also good and boasts a 1.3Mpx sensor.

For example, this is picture taken from my latest outfit with Lumia 830:

Smartglass:
The world is connected and the future is now, if you happen to have a full featured Microsoft Ecosystem at home it'll all come together. That happens also between Lumia 830 and your Xbox 360 or Xbox One. Download the App and login to your account, you'll be able to connected to your console, use your phone has a remote, a keyboard and even as an extra screen for your games.

Construction:
Lumia 830 has a great building quality, from the metallic Bessel to the Gorilla Glass display, it's all here to save and protect your phone, forget about scratched corners this time around. You'll be able to keep your phone shiny and in brand new quality without protective covers for a longer period.

Bloggers Perspective:
It fairly big and good screen to write posts is ideal to any blogger, the camera quality it's really good to shoot photos for your posts also. You can edit those photos directly on the phone, it is  a fast device and the screen had the much needed screen definition for it, after all we're talking about an HD Display.

And last but not the least, the home screen is amazingly customizable, and a great part of the Windows Experience, the possibility to make my phone" more like me" is wonderful. It allows you to use Live Tiles (Dynamic Tiles that are "alive"), choose if you want them, bigger, smaller or medium. Music Live Tile shows you the photos of the singer you're listening to. Cortana shows current news and updates. Messaging notifies you of who'd just texted, and there are so many more options to discover. Add to this experience, the transparency of some Tiles, it is great to see that the frame is not static and behind it you'll always have your wallpaper.

With all the above features, Lumia is becoming a great gadget for Bloggers!
